Happy April Fool’s Day!

Ever encountered a practical joke today? Beware, it’s April Fool’s Day! The day of practical jokes, hoaxes and humor!
Traditionally, jokes are supposed to last until noon only according to traditions and anyone who plays trick after noon is called an “April Fool”.
The Top 5 Hoaxes in all time includes (1)The Swiss Spaghetti harvest in 1957, (2) Sidd Finch in 1985, (3) Instant Colored TV in 1962 (4) The Taco Liberty Bell in 1996 (5) San Seriff in 1977.
The first ever April Fool’s day joke was found in the manuscripts of Chaucer’s Canterbury tales in 1392 entitled “Nun’s Priest’s Tale”, wherein 32 days after March was meant to be April 1. Since then, there are different ways on how to celebrate April Fool’s Day.
When I was in college, I had a personal experience about the April Fool’s hoax.  I remember my good friend telling everyone that she is pregnant on an April Fool’s Day.  The joke went on for months and we were all waiting for the signs and symptoms of pregnancy.  After 5 months, her boyfriend proposed to her and that’s when she said that everything was a joke.  Too bad for the boyfriend who was so excited to have a baby.
There are a lot of stories about how April Fool’s Day started, which depends on what country you are in.  Just keep in mind that today may not be the best day to trust people and believe in what they say.  After all, it is sometimes good to have some laugh, get some great humor and stop from your very serious lifestyle.  Have a great day today everyone and let us all enjoy the day! Have April Fool’s day! xoxo, iamtuesday
